This is why we need black history month.

Why? So you can go back many decades to dredge up an example rather than sticking with current events? In the context of this discussion was it necessary for me to put a 2013 qualifier on my question?

Since 1976. It’s not working.

Nah. You have to put that narrow butt parameter on it because that is the only context whereby Altair’s ridiculous claim sounds plausible.

It works; outside of Real America.

No, it doesn’t.

It does.

Some people did something in Oklahoma. It’s not working.

Black history is being run by white women who, in the words of Bill Burr " swung their Gucci boots over the oppression fence and went to the front of the line."

BLM is not about the B. It is run by black lesbian women. It is a means to power.

That sounds spooky, and highly irrelevant.

Black history month works, which is why the right is sooo upset about all of the ‘SJWs’ running around now. Oh, and upset about ‘brainwashing’ in high schools and colleges. Oh, and upset about critical race theory.

It’s all so upsetting.

No, it doesn’t work. CRT, protesting, burning and looting did short term. Remains to be seen long term.

Black history month has done very, very little for the black nation.

Maybe you’re right. I’m still encountering people asking me basic questions and false assumptions here on the regular. Could be the age bracket. I saw what was written about slavery in a high school textbook from the 60s in one of the Real America states, and it explains everything.

If you want to indict the US public education system as run by libs since reconstruction I will gladly volunteer to be the prosecutor. Pro bono.

He was born in 1937 in Memphis. You think he might know a little something about racism, Jim Crow, etc.?

They hate that they’re minority…they are demanding that society conform to them and thus with special privileges for being an minority.
