The father was found guilty, but not sentenced to prison. He was given 5 years probation, and 300 hours of community service.

I would support this type of punishment for these three kids.

He was family, I understand that. But one of the boys was a friend.

So? I am closer to some of my friends than I am my family members. That little girl was violated. Her brothers were distraught. No one wants to see their friends go through that. Very often the family members of a molested child go through more trauma than the victim because of the guilt they feel for letting it happen or not being aware of it.
