What we want or don’t want is immaterial. There was no market crash of any duration by any valid definition on Election Day.

Your definition is more valid than Investopedia’s?
There was no crash, there was no panic, there was no rapid sell off or significant drop in prices.
You’re trying to spin a turd into linen, just give it up.

The Dow didn’t tank because the Dow was closed. However:
Donald Trump has taken the stock market to the limit. And he hasn’t even won the presidency yet.
After waves of selling on Tuesday night, stock market futures were halted early Wednesday morning after plunging 5%, as Trump was on the cusp of an unlikely victory over Hillary Clinton. Just after midnight, the Dow Jones industrial average was down 827 points. The S&P 500 was down 107 points. The technology heavy Nasdaq 100 had fallen 241 points.
There was no crash, there was nothing but a momentary dip.

A momentary crash, so severe they had to suspend trading. It’s a moot point, anyway. The stock market’s long-term performance under Trump is all that matters. The only thing that crash proves is that many people were wrong about him.
There was no crash period, just give it up.

There was, and I’ve posted evidence to prove it, and you just keep saying “no.” Not very convincing.

Give it up. You are all alone on this.
Republicans are suddenly going to become moral again, that’s gonna be the best part. And they’ll all deny being Trump supporters of any level.

You are sounding a bit emotional there Tommy.

Samm:
Give it up.
You’re the one arguing against the definition of a term. I posted a link and you keep posting your opinion.
It is a good thing that people will be able to search online and see what actually occurred including the recorded vote of how Senators voted in the Senate impeachment trial.
Also, there will be this site where one will be able to see the support or criticism of Donald Trump by posters on here.

There was no crash because nobody except you thinks there was a crash. Is that a good enough definition for you?

As if any of that maters.

You haven’t prove anything except that there was no crash.
The slide began early in the morning on election day as it still appeared Hillary would win. It continued into the night when she refused to concede and democrats were threatening to fight Trump’s win tooth and nail.
As soon as she conceded, sort of, the markets shot back up.

History will not treat D Trump’s presidency kindly and similarly for those acolytes of Trump in the Senate who were derelict in their duty.
