I was thinking about this thread while ago while I was doing some chores.
My favorite response has been “conspiracy theory! Who’s the puppet master?” 
It’s not a conspiracy, it’s a world view. It was and is taught. It is simple, the grammar of it is consistent and it is easy to remember. The packaging on the box is attractive.

That was my point with posting the other top 100 fiction authors. Easily 75 percent have had accusations of racial or cultural insensitivity or worse already.
It is a qualifying passage to make the top tier of fiction writers.
It means nothing now…It’s just noise.
