What Should Donald Trump Say In His Speech Tonight

It’s gonna be a whine fest.

He’ll do a combination of all three, but he won’t make any deal that will bring an end to the shutdown. The Trump farce will continue.

He should tell the truth. But he will not.

I’m pretty much certain he’s going to do that. Whether that means anything or it’ll just be him running his mouth is anyone’s guess.

If he were competent or smart or knew what he was doing he would have a virtually impossible task of justifying a state of emergency to the courts, even if it were during wartime.

You can see it a mile away, fat donald is declaring a national emergency tonight.

What Should Donald Trump Say In His Speech Tonight

Whatever he wants to say.

He should tell the American people that the shutdown has been necessary in order to get funds for the wall Mexico is going to pay for and that he is going to pick from a hat to determine if it’s concrete, steel slats, or just fencing.

If he goes the “I’m declaring a national emergency” route, I’ll be interested in seeing how fast the first court challenge is issued.

It should be immediate.

I’m not sure you would want him saying that. The only chance he has is carefully reading the words from the teleprompter put there by people far smarter and more devious than he is.

Fox News in sync with the narrative.

It’ll be like an hour later.

After the ruling against Truman, the president’s ability to do things like this is extremely limited.

Sounds pretty likely.

I’m not going to be watching it, so I don’t care what he says.

Anyone notice Fox is suddenly saying “national security emergency” a whole bunch? That’s pretty much the clincher.

Yep…prepping the base.

Yeah I would add that he would then say he will sign an order to reopen the government while he demands an emergency wall to be built. Its one of his greatest tricks. Create an imagined crisis. Make it overwhelmingly worse through tweets and comments- then “solve” it through unilateral executive orders and decisions that worsen the situation or get held up by courts. (See- tariffs, North Korea, Iran deal, Syria, immigration bans). The Base loves it .

Of course, there will still be no wall at the end of the day.

This is going to be glorious. I’m excited.

Who is telling Trump this is a good idea? Besides himself. Miller?
