I just showed you why it is relevant.

I believe it was less then 2 weeks after the election.
Tomorrow marks 2 weeks after the election of 2020.

So why the squealing?

Just saw it was from 2000.
Interesting. But again, BIll Clinton authorized the PDB to happen before then. Also - Sitll not part of the law as you had stated.

Tell me, when is the right time to start being Alarmed that the current President is attempting to ignore a election result?

No you didn’t. If Trump concedes today nothing changes–states will continue certifying the results, the EC will vote, etc. If Trump never concedes, nothing changes either. The Constitution doesn’t have a concession requirement.

Ahem That was from 2000. Bush/Gore

Edited the post when I saw it.
Still not part of the law as you claimed.

And Bill Clinton went ahead and authorized access to the PDB ealier.

We are talking about the transition as codified in law.

No where in the law does it say anyone needs to concede.

Biden has recourse if he feels it is necessary.

You guys are mixing in some things.

The GSA Administrator’s ascertainment, which as far as I know hasn’t been issued, is to release the $10M transition funds.

The PDB is a different thing.

It’s all symbolic anyway.

Biden said he’s good. It’ll be fine.

537 votes is a lot different that 10,000.

Nothing says a President has to wait. But nothing says he has to begin the transition while the election is disputed either. It’s up to the head of the GSA, when he/she says it has to begin, it does.

Because we’d like the administration prepared so another 9/11 event doesn’t happen

It is not solely up to them.
They are required to do it when the winner becomes “Apparent”

Yes, it matters for transition planning, but the actual transition will take place in January with or without Trump’s cooperation.

Ridiculous. 9/11 was 9 months after the inauguration, not 9 minutes.

Did the CIA and FBI Directors transition?

The contents of that post are stupid.

Who decides when that is?

A trump appointee who wants to keep her job until Inauguration Day.
