House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi barely made it through a rambling press conference this week; mispronouncing words, forgetting her lines, and stumbling over math equations as she addressed reporters at the Capitol.
Pelosi was speaking with journalists during her daily press briefing when she infamously went off script; mispronouncing “prescription drugs” and confusing the terms “debt” with “deficit.”
Pelosi’s comments come as her party’s poll numbers continue to fall ahead of the 2018 midterm elections; shrinking from a massive 15% advantage to less than one percent in recent surveys.
