Controversial Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez found -yet another- excuse to attack the Trump administration this week; bizarrely asserting that Vice President Pence can’t lead the Coronavirus Task Force because he “literally does not believe in science.”
“Mike Pence literally does not believe in science. It is utterly irresponsible to put him in charge of US coronavirus response as the world sits on the cusp of a pandemic. This decision could cost people their lives. Pence’s past decisions already have,” posted AOC on Twitter.

Ocasio-Cortez ripped the entire American political system during an interview Tuesday morning; saying the country’s government is “bogged down” by “racism, American Apartheid, and the genocide of Native People.”
“You can have one great, amazing, incredible elected official who’s still in the system that’s completely bogged down in the legacies of racism, basically American Apartheid with Jim Crow, with the genocide of Native People,” said Ocasio-Cortez.
Charlamagne tha God told AOC that none of the Democratic candidates "have proven themselves when it comes to black and brown people."

“Knowing that, what’s really important is that we are just starting to get politicians who are accountable to mass movements,” she added. “I think Bernie Sanders has that accountability.”
