Give examples.
I hear that progs are all about ending “hate”. But it seems that what they really mean is ending disagreement with their social policies.

Why?
You’ve already decided what they believe.
Don’t stop now!
Pick a social policy and let’s discuss the conservative objection to it.

You pretty much nailed it. They mean disagreement with them on anything really.
They don’t wish to debate but rather wish to be the only ones speaking.

There’s two.
How many more non-Libs want to join in and tell everyone what Libs believe and think?
Don’t be bashful! How else will we get an objective readout if you all don’t join in?
I mean…I can’t think of a more good faith invitation for people to come and say what they think than an opening post that essentially reads “Come tell me what you think, but before you do, let me tell you what you think”.

Irony alert
Let’s debate right now. Pick a social policy you disagree with that libs support.
Ready go
Martin Luther King, Jr. noted that hate cannot drive out hate; love drives out hate. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; light drives away darkness.
By the same token, if both sides can sit down and first discover where we agree, perhaps all these petty disagreements might be resolved?

Words have meaning. Then we apply them. That’s how it works.
So… QED… you want to defend your policies.

Yes words have meaning.
And your words in the OP indicate you are not interested in an honest discussion so instead of pretending you are interested, why don’t you do what you really want to do?
Oh wait you already did…in the first post.
So we can end the thread now.
So you don’t have a definition? You simply apply the word wherever it suits your political narrative?

Hate is a strong emotional state that goes far beyond dislike or detest.

When I think of “hate” , it is an emotion.

Well, that’s interesting because the people that say they want to end hate are often the ones pushing it. For instance, the hatred for Trump on the left has been so great that they’re willing to take hats off of heads and commit acts of violence to try to express their hatred. Honestly, I didn’t like most of Obama’s policies and Bidens are worse but I’ve never thought about being violent to someone wearing an Obama shirt or Biden mask. I didn’t care for Trump’s personality but even though I held my nose and voted for him against Hillary, I grew to like his policies over time.
That’s the political perspective but from a normal perspective, I hate violent felons and especially child predators. I would go so far as to say that if anyone targeted my grandkids, they better pray that the police get to them before I do as I would get extremely violent. That’s my line. The sad truth is there are some on the far left that draw that line at political disagreement. Are there some on the far right? Yeah, but they’re no where near as common in my opinion.
Want an example on the left?
Madonna. “I’ve thought a lot about blowing up the White House”
Maxine Waters: And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.
“If they even TRY to replace RBG we burn the entire ■■■■■■■ thing down,” Reza Aslan
Then look at the BLM and Antifa riots. Then look at the 19+ deaths from the George Floyd riots.
I don’t hate the far left, I just wish they would find some civility.

Well, listen carefully to leftists .vs Conservatives. I hear a lot of “I feel” from the leftists while I hear a lot of “I think” from those on the right. It’s very subtle but it’s VERY true.

Calling those who are different from you less than or evil.
This goes for every prog who used red neck as a slur. And every righty who calls me evil.
Yep. For me same goes for bias.
Bias can be logical.
“I’ll vote for democrats because they will give me more free things”

If only I could get rid of the fear. PTSD is a terrible thing. You would think I would know this meme studying psychology so much. But, I really don’t know everything.
