The people I’ve seen demanding his removal stand to lose a LOT if the corruption is brought out in the open. Trump is a jackass but the fact that establishment critters on both sides are out to get him says a LOT. The corruption runs deep and when the damn breaks, it’s going to get nasty. You may not like his methods but he damn sure isn’t an authoritarian. If he was, he would have fired Mueller day 1 rather than let it run its course. He would ignore supreme court rulings and refuse to abide by them. He wouldn’t be pushing legislation like his tax cuts and the first step act in the House & Senate. You completely ignored the entirety of my post that laid out exactly why he is an authoritarian and how his actions are authoritarian in nature. One of his very first Executive policies was to ignore the Emoluments Clause. Next, he has worked to completely usurp the separation of powers of the Legislative Branch. With his blanket refusals to honor a single subpoena from them. His policy of purging Inspectors General who could oversee his actions in the Executive Branch has worked to move him ever closer to full authority.

His abuse of the DOJ to punish enemies and protect his friends is a page right out of every single authoritarian playbook. And let us not forget the policy his administration employed at his direction to use Congressionally appropriated funds to try and blackmail Ukraine into investigating his General Election opponent, and announce such an investigation so he could use this as a means to secure his own re-election.

There is more obviously. Trump directed the Pentagon to withdraw from a $10BB contract with Bezos, as punishment for the coverage he has received from the Washington Post. Also, redirecting Congressionally appropriated funds from other areas to the southern border to attempt to fulfill a campaign promise of building new barriers.

Let us not forget also that John Bolton, a man who may be a neocon war-hawk but is NOT a liar, confirmed everything we learned during the impeachment investigation and subsequent trial.

Hell, their president wasn’t even AWARE that the aid was held up and it wasn’t held up based on anything more than “Let’s not send millions of dollars to these guys until we know the corruption is being addressed”… you know, the Presidents JOB?
