Just noticed this. You wouldn’t let a high school student watch the Patriot?

POLICY.
Where else does that come from but the government???
But all over the country are pregnancy centers – many geared to help women who would otherwise choose abortion. Resource centers. Some run by churches. Some independent. Some by communities.
I consider it abjectly sick to make the suggestion (and whether or not you are doing so directly, your posturing does) that if certain people won’t endorse the initiatives you want, then you will argue for the right to terminate your offspring. It’s more than mere stupidity (as I noted 100 replies ago.) It’s vile.
It’s not just the initiatives we want… conservatives don’t support any initiatives at all. They consider them “handouts for welfare queens”.

The reality is that some children can be very sensitive and mature emotionally at different rates. There’s also medical conditions that cause social/emotional disorders. Let me provide this other (Mel Gibson) example. My wife and I would not let him watch The Passion of Christ, which is very graphic.

Do Republicans have or support any policies, legislation, ideas or recommendations that address the newly born?
Let me know, I honestly want to understand what they have. You seem to have a lot of trouble answering that question and it is making you resort to personal attacks.
Your lack of answer seems to support the notion that many Republicans don’t care about the born.

Do it all the time, it’s called going out to eat and leaving a good tip.
One of the ironies I find in this discussion is it not those on the Left who promoted so-called “Safe Spaces” for College age students. One would think this could be an area of agreement?

That’s ok your liberal school board people can just yell F you to us at meetings if they don’t like what they hear! Indoctrination time is over!
Let’s go Brandon!

You’re asking what I already answered directly to you.

Your answer to the question “what do Republicans support that addresses the needs of the born” is community based pregnancy centers. Did I get that right?

That’s just part of it. All I was doing was showing it’s an abject lie to say, “They don’t give a crap.”
That was the question you started with, and I’ve done that.

The state of Texas literally passed a law that required things like chattel slavery and the Holocaust be taught from “both sides.” Careful what you wish for.

Thanks, I think you clearly answered the question. Republicans care about the unborn, but the born are a different story.

That’s not what I said at all. Why lie about that?

Might want to edit. It is a filter bypass. Just spell it out and program will take care of it.

we should start asking livestock and poultry for their opinion too.
If you’ll check the dog testing thread you’ll see that conservatives are now big PETA supporters while it’s convenient cough cough.

Sure, but barring developmental, or emotional issues, most 15 year olds are mature enough to learn the realities of history.
I can’t believe you are seriously making the argument that we can’t teach the realities of slavery or Holocaust to High School students.

I’m not lying about anything. I asked what policies do Republicans support that address the needs of the born. You brought up community pregnancy centers.
That’s what you said, right?
Did I miss something?
