Effectively, California’s highest judges allowed the legislature to seize the power to draw congressional districts away from voters, even after the voters amended the constitution to prevent them from doing so.
Calling it cheating is being kind.

The GOP should appeal to the SC.
That the Cali SC needs impeaching goes without saying if they refuse to go by their own Constitution.

Won’t happen. Same thing happened in PA and they are well aware of it.
CA will have trouble carving out even more reliable Dem districts.
They will alienate a lot of voters sick of the crime.

I think that Vietnam veterans (and all veterans) are overall treated better by society than in the years following the Vietnam war.
Though there is still a lot more we can do to support veterans especially when it comes to mental health

California voters will vote on the change this fall, just like they voted on the original amendment. If they don’t want it, they’ll vote against it. Compare that to Texas, where voters didn’t have a say in the new electoral maps.
Support roles across all industries are being replaced with AI. Those 4000 eliminated by Salesforce are going to struggle to find equivalent jobs. Heck the old chestnut about learning to code is no longer relevant as AI is starting to do that as well.

Libism is now an ideology largely (if not exclusively) driven by what comes out of Liberal Academia. Progressivism, CRT, LGBTQ+++, Open Borders, Socialism, etc., are amongst the core tenants of their religion. And are people like this really fringe or are they just more openly honest on where today’s Democrats are?
