I’m getting crazy OT this year.

Yeah… I am too. I just took a job for the last part of this year that doesn’t give me as much OT because I am already so far ahead of my earnings goal.
The first part of the year was crazy, Did a 19 day straight stint a couple of months ago.

This right here, personally I feel that the number of folks that wanted to swing things open and let the virus “burn through” are in the minority…this thought is further reinforced by Trump losing.
People care alot about Covid no matter what side of the political spectrum they are in and now that a vaccine is out as things get worse the unvaccinated will continue to face increased pressure.
By everyone not just Dems…its happening already
I won’t lie, I’m feeling doom and gloom… but mostly because of the delta variant. I don’t blame Biden for this though… I blame folks who could take the covid vaccine but refuse to do so.

Rodeo:
I heard about this this morning. I’m not a big polls fan but here you go.
Americans’ Optimism for the Future Has Cratered by Nearly 20 Points in 2 Months: POLL (msn.com)
From the linked article.
“A new study shows a sharp increase in the number of Americans who have become pessimistic about the future of the country’s direction… ABC News and Ipsos released a poll which found that 55 percent of the public are no longer optimistic about America’s future. This study notes that pessimism seems to be rising across the board for all political groups, and it’s a significant increase from the 36 percent of participants who expressed these feelings in the last version of this poll, published in early May… The poll finds that President Joe Biden still enjoys support among Democrats and some Independents with his handling of the coronavirus. His numbers are in decline, however, since he only has a tiny majority of approval for his approach to economic recovery and the withdrawing of U.S. forces from Afghanistan. On top of that, Biden’s approval rate on handling crime is at 39 percent, his approach to gun violence is at 37 percent, and his handling of the U.S.-Mexico border situation is at 37 percent.”
Actually I wasn’t refuting what Conan said in the thread but I know that when someone makes a claim without providing a link typically the first response is “do you have a link”.

I am also worried, mostly because I don’t think we could handle another “lock down” neither economically or practically.
The world is also in pretty bad shape right now in relation to the virus…
Reagan wasn’t a far left puppet.
Many of those predicting doom and gloom months before Obama took office are still peddling the EXACT SAME SNAKE OIL, and many people continue to choose to take that snake oil and rub it all over and mix it into their nightly tincture.
No thanks. We’ll be fine.
Threads like this are funny. They expect everyone to pretend that the last 4 years didn’t happen, and that suddenly an issue like OMG HE’S OLD AND SENILE is meant to be taken seriously. It was called “TDS” for 4 years, and no legitimate discussion of Trump’s mental faculties was allowed to take place without the hollers of “TDS, TDS, TDS.”
Please.

Neither is Biden based on the policy he has pushed forward.

So when Biden took office the RCP poll average for the question of is the country going in the right direction was 21.4.
Today it is up to 40.6.
And Biden’s RCP poll average for job approval has never gone below 51%

30% of illegals (migrants) refuse to take the vaccination.
Should they be returned back to their country for doing so? They aren’t American citizens.

That’s pretty simple. Refuse to be locked down.

Its not about refusing or complying, if Covid keeps burning through at the rate its going, refusing to be locked down is going to be the least of everyone’s problems…not just the US but the world
OG Covid looks like a teddy bear compared to what we are facing right now
