Why not? Give them the topics (foreign policy, healthcare, homeless, border, taxes, economy, etc.) and let them formulate their own questions. I mean how hard is it?

My point is that having three liberal or three conservative moderators in charge of each debate is a really bad format. There needs to be balance. What if FOX does not get a debate? Then all debates will be controlled by the DNC.

I get it, that’s why I suggested 3 random citizens, and they make up their own questions, that should at least minimize the special interest groups and GOP/DNC interference.
