Statistically speaking, if American blacks emigrated to a black majority country and then after becoming citizens there, re-emigrated to the US, they would be more successful. Apparently, the key for black success in this country is to not be from the US.

What do you expect when 89% of blacks always vote Democratic? To be a black Republican, one has to acknowledge that they will be ostracized by a large number of other blacks.

You seem to have all the answers. Why don’t you tell me.

Precisely on the money!

In that specific instance I would agree. Still not something people should throw around all day, every day. But that isn’t saying they are on a plantation, it is saying Biden acts like they are.

The fact is as you alluded to that blacks that have immigrated to the US have higher success rates than those of black born here.

What’s the point of political rhetoric if you aren’t allowed to use it?

I don’t know. Maybe I am a weirdo. I just don’t think it is right or acceptable to mock historically oppressed people with a reminder of their oppression. I’m just weird like that.

Yes, that’s why I said it. Yet the Democrat mantra is that the white dominated society in this country holds back both blacks and immigrants, so obviously, the bill of goods that they try to sell everyone must be flawed.

We are not mocking historically oppressed people, we are mocking the historical oppressors.

Welfare, free/subsidized housing, food stamps, SNAP payments, WIC, and medicaid.

When you add up all the freebies a single mom with 2-5 kids gets from the gov’t for many it eliminates the desire to do anything for themselves.

See it used both ways, to mock democratic leadership and to mock black voters. Either way, it’s a hurtful and needless reference to their historical oppression. Which is not to be confused with current oppression. Sorry but it’s just flat out racist to single black people out as having a unique preference for government support and to say they can be bought that cheaply, the minute you single out a racial group you are already in trouble. I am white, that doesn’t mean I am all white people.

You are putting way too much thought into this.

Nope, you are overestimating how much thought I give my anonymous internet posts.

No.

  1. A high school diploma.
  2. No children out of wedlock.
  3. Get a job.
  4. Keep job.

Okay … then you are putting more thought into it than is necessary for an anonymous internet post. On the Internet, it is not necessary to look at anything from both sides. :stuck_out_tongue:

Id make that at least two years of community college or other training program. High school degree doesn’t really cut it any more. Yes, there are exceptions, but they are getting fewer and fewer as years go by.

Of course it does. What percentage of US workers have no college?

Need to refine that a bit, what percentage living above the poverty line springs to mind.

Don’t get me wrong, some people don’t need college to succeed, my little brother is one of them, was a CEO of a top three US telecom company, no college, frankly shouldn’t have passed high school, people love him though, he motivates people with his personality. Pretty sure they don’t teach that at Yale.
