What demonstrable evidence is there that Democrat policies are better for the middle class?

Democrat policies are better for the middle class

No they arent. Look at the gun rights issue for a example democrats claim they love the constitution yet have no problems talking about banning stuff or things they dont agree to or with.

“libism”(whatever that is) is death to the US economy?

Biden said it himself he wants to end oil and gas again at the debate no efferent from what Hillary said and if Hillary had won she would have pushed for such things to end.

California is a ex maple of what will happen to America if the dems are allowed to control more then 20 years or so.

I gave examples of economic improvements and health insurance improvements under Obama’s administration as an example of improvements for the middle class in an attempt to add to the discussion.

The only thing the government can do for the private sector is get out of the freakin’ way and put tariffs when they tariff us.

Everything else is gum in the works.

And that freakin’ climate change hoax is going to put us all on the teat.

And siding with Iranian gov i am sure… No wonder why the Jihadists in Syria would had preferred Hillary.

economic improvements and health insurance improvements

Healthcare if you have the money for it i am sure thats a huge improvement. But for those low class families they still cant afford anything of such.

Trickle down economics DOES NOT WORK. Bottom up works.

Biden has announced a $2 trillion plan to, he claims, create millions of jobs and achieve 100% clean electricity by 2035, a target that has seemed more realistic as solar and wind pricing became competitive with traditional energy sources in just the past decade. Biden has embraced portions of [the Green New Deal]

Biden even said he wants to cut and end oil and gas. How is this going to help the rest of 200 Million who will be jobless?

25 Million jobs is not enough to feed 300 millions.

As part of a party platform, Democrats have been generally in favor of such a tax, but most reports show Biden is less likely to make it a priority.

Yes reports show dont they dont matter but if Biden wins dont be surprised to see that a new tax would be passed under the Biden admin.

We appreciate your opinion, but the OP asked for evidence. So I tried to give actual evidence to move the discussion forward. And I can think of several ways the government helps the private sector. Assuming you accept things like child labor laws as a good thing.

Necessary evil. Not “helping the private sector”.

Glad you admit they have additional necessary roles besides tariffs. Where doe the highway system fit into this? Protection of sea lanes? Law enforcement? Port security? Subsidies to farmers? Subsidies to energy companies? Keeping airlines afloat?

Having a role and helping are not the same thing.

The problem is we aren’t seeing “Democratic policies” in action.

We have only seen lesser or greater versions of trickle down depending on who’s in office.

Both Democrats and Republicans for 30+ years now- close to 40- have been enabling the Rentier class which controls most of the wealth of the world to gain even more control.

Anything that doesn’t fall within these narrow bounds has been considered off limits as “outright socialism”.

This is what I mean about how the narrative has been controlled for 30+ years to a degree most people couldn’t even dream is happening.

The culture war stuff is even more a part of the overall narrative- it keeps us distracted over trivial matters.

Did any of the ones I listed help the private industry?

Reality.

No…

They absolutely all did.

No…

The government doesn’t build roads. Private sector companies do. The government hasn’t built ■■■■ in decades.

The government creates the environment to build roads. Eminent Domain is not a private sector tool, for example

Nowadays that’s how it works- kind of.

What really happens is tax dollars subsidize those private companies (usually foreign- since most companies in this biz are foreign) and then give those same companies exclusive rights for 20+ years to charge tolls to the very taxpayers who subsidized the roads…and if another road goes in that could compete with the private roads? Government pays those same companies a premium.

Rentier capitalism at work.

In the old days, the government just financed the whole deal…private industries would never have done so- they don’t have the scale or the profit motive to do so.

The old way was cheaper for all involved because rentier capitalism always increase the costs- so the rentier can collect their premiums.

How the narrative has worked for 30+ years and you don’t even know it.
