This thread epitomizes why the electoral momentum has swung to Harris.
All the attacks: Marxism, belittling the candidateâs military record, race-baiting, immigrant crime are recycled from other campaigns and have been used to attack other candidates. Their familiarity blunts their impact
Meanwhile, the Democrats have dramatically shifted their messaging. Biden was running against Trump as a threat: to democracyâs institutions and norms. The fallacy of this approach was that it made Trump seem big: a powerful threat and that played into Trumpâs egotism and what so many of his followers like: heâs the strong one; he alone can fix this.
Walz started a turnaround with his âweirdâ quip, the pointed to how much Trump and Vance are out of step with the values of beliefs of most Americans. Harris and Walz have amplified this on the stump: mocking Trump, belittling him. They are making Trump seem small. And the polls show that is working
I would love to see some original thought from the MAGA wing, Fear based attacks lose their edge when your candidate is not perceived as strong â he can no longer fight off the fear.
Trump has the time and the cash on hand to turn this around, but he needs to stop fighting last months campaign and start to address what is undermining him. It would be nice to hear something that isnât off a decade old greatest hits record.

The only message Iâve heard from Harris is she will âfightâ, work to lower prices and always have the interests of âthe middle classâ. Where was all of this concern in the last 46 months?
Harris always has and always be a Bay Area equity wealth distribution Marxist. Her running mate has represented himself for years as something he isnât. He knows it, a lot of Minnesotans know it, his fellow soldiers know it and itâs up to Walz to explain himself. Their campaign will always have that hanging around. Oh, the media will continue to run cover for both of course. But the truth is still the truth no matter who gets their feelings hurt.
Harris continues to espouse elimination of the filibuster to ram a âgreen new scamâ down the taxpayers throats without any consideration of the additional spending consequences on the economy, blanket amnesty & pathway to citizenship for illegals, eliminating private health insurance, Medicare and other social benefits for illegals. Harris has hinted if elected she will work to expand the USSC and is for an arms embargo against Israel.
Shifted messaging? Theyâre full throated leftist lunatics. Sad thing is the Dimbulbcrat electorate are enamored with a shiny object that is not Biden! Theyâre to dumb and too lazy to find out exactly who these people really are.

I am not commenting on policy; I am commenting on the messaging from the two campaigns, which focuses on perceptions of the candidates, not policies.
Trump isnât slipping solely because of Project 2025, although those plans appear to be hurting him. He is failing primarily because Harris/Walz have found a way to deflate his strong man image. To win the election he needs to get that back.
Ranting about crowd sizes, as Trump is doing today, will not solve his political problem. I hope you will agree that the average American struggling with food prices does not really care who draws bigger crowds at rallies.

Part of Project 2025 is to replace a ton of government employees with Trump loyalists hand picked by the Heritage Foundation.
If Trump loses⌠who you think is going to be his staff? Who do you think he is going to replace these government workers with?
