That’s part of the problem Wu. We spend more per child on education than virtually every other country, and yet our kids consistently score near the bottom. About 40% of our kids are being graduated with reading and math abilities well below grade level. There are school systems in some of our big cities where not one child scored at grade level on standardized tests. Ever wonder why? It didn’t use to be that way. Something has changed in about the last 40 years… What could it be?
