First off, I’ve looked through numerous sources, including that one prior to your post. That source mentions “apprehensions” and says nothing about deportations, those being detained, or those who are released. You are claiming that the Trump Administration “paroled millions of asylum seekers into the country,” which is false. This source just confirms something I’ve already known. That later in Trump’s presidency there was a bigger surge from more countries and people seeking asylum. It was around then that his administration put thier policies in place which really curtailed the issue PRIOR to Covid.
