“Drug pushers” are fictional.

Drug dealers have plenty of customers already. They don’t need to “push” it on anyone.

Drugs sell themselves.

The Wisconsin GOP long ago traded away the honest votes of family farmers for corporate farms lobbying money.

Legal marijuana is a direct threat to that transaction.

Sounds like an issue with people taking medical advice from cashiers inside dispensaries who aren’t doctors. I know when I want medical advice I just ask my bartender.

So has the war on everything else
The great society
The republic experiment
Government of the people, by the people and for the people
The final arbiters
The Constitution

And will still get it done before Texas.

I wouldn’t put that on one party. California liberals (namely Gavin Newsom) did the same thing here to Cannabis farmers

And why not? It’s been legal longer than weed. Bartenders have more medical experience.

Maybe they will. They can always have an edible and no one’s likely to notice.

Hmm… Seems Federal legalization might not be far off after all. Clearly, the “war on drugs” laws have not had their intended effect and need to be reformed. This is coming from a Republican.

If it works for them then why not?

They saw those tax bill and wanted a piece of the pie.

something something gangs, something something crime.

I used to live in Delaware, they had no beer or liquor sales on Sundays. Everyone always complained about it being because of religion. Not realizing it was still in effect because liquor store owners consistently lobbied to keep it from being repealed. They liked having a day off without having to worry about other liquor stores taking their business.

Crony capitalism.

I am 100% for decriminalizing heroin use and offering free rehab to all addicts.

Ironically, it’s harder for kids to buy on the streets in states that have legalized… Dealers can’t compete against regulated industry…

I think all drugs should be legal.
If people want something, they will get it, one way or the other. Making drugs illegal simply drives the price up and makes billionaires out of the suppliers.
How has the War on Drugs worked out? It’s been going on for 50 years and there are more illegal drugs in circulation than ever before.
BTW- I don’t use any of them and never have.

Sure. It’s been coming ever since Colorado started reporting their pot tax revenues. Oregon didn’t legalize either until Washington reported theirs. Dominoes.
