Portugal decriminalized ALL DRUGS over 10 years ago, drug use has gone down.

i know the US should do what everyone else does

We also discussed some bible belt liquor laws and how Indiana liquor story lobby contributed to those (as opposed to simply bible belt morality that everyone seems to think is the sole reason)

F.e. cold beer sales are still not allowed in Indiana grocery stores because of liquor store lobby’s efforts

I used to live in Delaware, they had no beer or liquor sales on Sundays. Everyone always complained about it being because of religion. Not realizing it was still in effect because liquor store owners consistently lobbied to keep it from being repealed. They liked having a day off without having to worry about other liquor stores taking their business.

I think all drugs should be legal.
If people want something, they will get it, one way or the other. Making drugs illegal simply drives the price up and makes billionaires out of the suppliers.
How has the War on Drugs worked out? It’s been going on for 50 years and there are more illegal drugs in circulation than ever before.
BTW- I don’t use any of them and never have.

Sure. It’s been coming ever since Colorado started reporting their pot tax revenues. Oregon didn’t legalize either until Washington reported theirs. Dominoes.
