Don’t let me discourage you.

Just keep being you.

We already passed your first no-coming-back deadline without you even realizing it. And this isn’t the Depression, the jobs aren’t gone, they’re just on hold.

This is the course we chose and coming out of it early will mean this was all for nothing. You want to combine the problems caused by the shutdown with the problems that we would have had if we didn’t.

It’s literally the worst possible scenario.

Did you have something of value to add to my comment?

Is the left the only group asserting “control” over citizens?

Which time were you right? This time or the previous three you claimed it was all over? Actually, scratch that, I’ve had to check you claiming it was over in Allegheny County more than just the past three times.

It’s over.

We saved the hospitals.

We can handle what comes next.

Could have started elective surgery 2 weeks ago.

This delay is also killing people.

My alternative is to start opening the economy … We’ve been given guidelines by the folks who’ve actually managed the mess so far and they’ve done a good job so I trust them. I don’t trust the clowns on the left who sit around waiting for someone else to make a decision and then swear they would have done whatever the opposite is, which is all you get from liberals.

The American economy needs to get back to work, if we continue on the trend of people losing their jobs and businesses not being able to open we are going to create devastation in this country that will long outlive this stupid virus. The health of the economy and the health of the public are one in the same…and we need to start treating things that way. Healthy people don’t live in countries when they can’t buy food, provide homes, get a job or get to work.

The sky could fall also.

It can always get worse.

We will be fine. Go read an uplifting biography.

There is no reason not to get to work with proper hygiene.

I don’t disagree. We’ve learned alot over the last month. Things are not coming back over night…But the longer we wait to start slowly firing up this engine again the longer it will take to start humming. I’m going to be working at home for a very long time. My personal business is shot until at least the beginning of July…I’m one of millions who have made significant sacrifices. It’s time to get back to work.

This was reminding me of schizophrenics. Not that they’re actually literally schizoid but people like that show terrible symptoms, take mood stabilizers which then work to alloeviate them, then they feel better, decide they don’t need the meds, stop taking them and the symptoms come back. They usually do this for years.

yes. our manufacturers are in PA where the Gov. has shut down most manufacturing.

The job is in NJ and the principle contractor on the job steered our portion of the project to a NJ based operation - NJ has not stopped manufacturing despite our state being a hot bed for COVID.

can you point out which states meet the criteria for re-opening?

Well then that your state/governor problem. It’s not people fault.

Who said it was ‘people fault’?

You replied to my post.

Yes?

You suggested people on the left want these lockdowns to happen.

I gave examples of why they are misery for me professionally.

I never blamed ‘people’.
