Right…I guess I was just talking more in terms of general investment risk. Some people just buy index funds or ETFs. Either way, you need to diversify.
I took a short position on GE and a couple of other Tech stocks at the right time and it paid off.
It is unfortunate that people that get compensation in stock shares sometimes don’t rationally deal with the fact that they need to let go of some of that stock, usually sooner than later. I have seen people ride stock down literally to $0.00.
Yep it’s quiet common especially if your company gives an employee discount on company stock I have seen many people were I work load up on it because of the discount
