Libs don’t care about China. China already has authoritarian rule. China doesn’t need global warming. Schumer is never going to cry about China. He’s going to cry about you.

Sorry…don’t buy it.

I only run my AC, and other large appliances when the sun is out, utilizing my solar panels.
I also own 2 hybrids, one is a plug in.

I also try to shop locally owned businesses, including farmers market of locally grown food.

I like it! Now maybe you can convince you climate change “leaders” not to be so selfish and actually lead by example?

I’m totally getting it. You’re creating a strawman out of Chuck Schumer. The articles linked here aren’t Schumer saying we have to use clothes lines and get rid of our A/Cs while he doesn’t. Its him pushing the infrastructural bill. Can you point to me where in the infrastructure bill it says that I will have to sacrifice these perks of modern life while the rich continue to have them?

Liberals do care about China. But our options are limited when dealing with a giant and dishonorable country that has nuclear weapons and owns a lot of our debt. Geopolitics are complicated.

China already has authoritarian rule.

What does that have to do with this?

Schumer is never going to cry about China. He’s going to cry about you.

Schumer is an American legislator, not a Chinese one. He can’t create infrastructure legislation for China, so yea, he’s going to focus on his own backyard and not the one he has little ability to change.

Oh now you don’t like it when people dictate to others?

Classic.

Are you confusing me with another poster? I don’t support any dictating, I support democracy.

I’m not confusing anything.

Libs turn the same blind eye to China pollution that they do to Biden’s open border covid spreading. :man_shrugging:

Still, we’re looking at around 17 to 18k for a Prius with between 50-75 thousand miles. That’s about a 10k drop. Not enough IMO.

The Prius came in at a little under a 10 second 0-60. Similar to a Corolla. If they had a race it would be decided by whoever hit the gas pedal first. That’s 2008 Toyota Yaris time. If I’m going to get Yaris power, I want Yaris price.

You clearly are since I don’t support dictatorships.

Could China make us pollute less?
