No it wasn’t, no one is buying that. Biden is much worse now than he was then. In 2020 Biden was more like Trump is now, and Trump is even older than Biden was. Something to think about. . .

Early on, in the lead up to the 2020 primaries, media WERE declaring that Biden didn’t have a chance. They were resurrecting his past sins, his lies, his plagiarisms. But his fortunes started to shift, and, glory be, none of that ever happened. They were behind him 100% once it was evident that he was going to win the nomination. (And they were unkind to Bernie just enough to push Brandon over the top.)
Damned straight, if Brandon comes out of the Dem convention and is still the nominee, all the dementia will be swept under the rug, again.

Since Biden refuses to get out the media is already shifting back toward Biden.
At this point, the media is confused … they don’t know who to support and who to diminish and they don’t know how to be neutral. 
They were bashing Biden briefly but are backpedaling at the speed of sound.
