It should be obvious. A media can be selective and biased and protective as much as they want. The taxpayer shouldn’t be funding such media. I don’t care that NPR and Fox have their own biases. I care that my tax dollars are spent to fund one in spite of this.

Most people do not have the infrastructure to literally gather the news…
Critical thinking, sadly has bias as well.
So we have to rely on the multiple news outlets and try to figure it out.
After a while, it becomes clear what sources are more reliabethen others…
Still need to constantly challenge one’s own biases…and fact check everything.
I do find it interesting that mos factcheck sites, are not deemed reliable by cons…(Snopes, Factcheck dot com…)
Which begs the question, what fact check sites do cons trust?

Immediately correcting an honest mistake is what should happen. Pirro should be applauded, not ridiculed.
By comparison, three years of over-the-top Russia-collusion hoaxes with barely any acknowledgement and no apology is business as usual for the mockingbird media. They mindlessly repeat the current propaganda-de-jour from their handlers.
A large portion of the country still believes the debunked lies designed to smear President Trump. The lies were also serve as a pretext for a bloody proxy war in that has killed hundreds of thousands of people and wasted hundreds of billions of dollars.
And don’t get me started on the media lies and misinformation related to the COVID origin, draconian lockdowns, and hysteria to enforce vaccine mandates. Only now are a few starting to admit that they were ever wrong.
The media lies, and millions have died as a result.
