Surely you don’t believe that the loss of one innocent life, just one, doesn’t invalidate the entire process?

I agree.

But also in cases where there is concrete proof the person did it, the process needs to be much faster. More than a couple years is a waste in those cases.

No more than it invalidates the entire criminal justice system.

Where humans are involved there will always be mistakes.

We can do our best but we’re still human.

I understand your position perfectly.

Good, yours is nonsensical gibberish.

One is too many.

But also no system is 100% perfect. 100% should always be the goal, but not the standard in almost anything in life.

Fantastic. You’re right, of course. Good night.

It’s vacuous nonsense who’s purpose is only to deflect and inflame.

How is it any different if the convict dies in prison from sickness, a shiv, or in the execution chamber but is later exonerated?

“The State” still killed them unjustly.

Run along then, you are dismissed.

As always you are a boon to the discussions here. Thank you so much for continuing to participate.

LOL Thank you, truly. Others may not admit it but we learn so much from every post you make.

Well no, it appears you’ve yet to learn much of anything.

You certainly haven’t learned to have a discussion.

With your help I’ll get there. Thanks, friend!

Doubtful, I’m no miracle worker.

Don’t sell yourself short, I have faith in you!

How many times have truly innocent people been locked up for decades?

I agree.
