President Trump addressed reporters from the White House lawn Friday following a high-stakes meeting with congressional Democrats regarding border security and a bipartisan budget agreement.
The President warned Sen. Schumer during the meeting that the ongoing partial government shutdown could stretch for months -and potentially years- should Democrats fail to fund his signature campaign promise: a physical wall along the United States’ southern border with Mexico.
