Every Redskins fan in the world is gonna have to buy the new jerseys, the new hats, new everything. It’s gonna be a ducking windfall and Danny Snyder-who lost his copyright on the Skins logo years ago-is gonna make a ■■■■■■■ fortune off it.

No it isn’t. It’s heard the voice of the people and its sponsors and has decided the best path forward for their brand is to change their name. Brands do it all of the time.

I don’t understand. If they change the logo and the name they can get the copyright and trademark and make money off it, as opposed to now when they get nothing for the current logo and name.

I get it now. Changing the team name is the ruthless business move. I was thinking you were talking about people who’d move into capitalize on the lack of a trademark to the name.

Skins are more popular than you think. Not a ton of options unless you want to be a-gag-Ravens fan.

A lot of folks ask me why I’m not a Ravens fan despite the fact I live right here in MD(exactly 8 miles from FedEx field) about 40 minutes from Baltimore. Don’t get me wrong I still root for them, but my team is Washington and will always continue to be. The Fan base is large and for certain degree loyal. DC, most of VA, the DC bordering county’s in MD, the Carolina’s, and WV. I figure if the team was winning more, more fans will show their faces.
