WAR in Ukraine, Putin approves initiation of special military operation (Part 1)

Do you live in Russia? It’s weird that when you finally reference a western news story it’s a link to Rumble

This is rich…attempting to play both sides.

Do you live at the Pentagon? Langley? Foggy Bottom? Or do they just pay your bills?

The CNN report notes that no one is admitting that they are permanently leaving for the Russian-controlled areas. That is true even if their cars are loaded down with all kinds of gear, and they are traveling with small children.

Ukrainian men face arrest for draft evasion if they leave the country, so all the trips are just temporary visits to look after poor relatives suffering in Russian-controlled areas.

The narratives from Kiev and Washington are becoming unsustainable. The truth is starting to dribble out even in state-dominated western media like CNN.

You could of just said yes

Yes, you could admit where your funding is coming from. Are you a government employee, contractor, subcontractor, retiree, or grantee?

At this point “Russian propaganda” means anything that does not support the narrative from the White House. Members of congress who demanded accounting for the billions going to slush funds in Ukraine were accused of being agents of Putin. Only now is CBS admitting corruption is rampant in Ukraine and maybe only 30% of the weapons actually reach the front line.

Old joke:

A Russian and an American get on a plane in Moscow and get to talking. The Russian says he works for the Kremlin and he’s on his way to go learn American propaganda techniques.

“What American propaganda techniques?” asks the American.

“Exactly,” the Russian replies.

Not only is Ukraine slowly squeezing Russia with precision long range artillery but partisans are fighting the Russians from the inside.

A 5 year old could have predicted that Russian appointed mayors and governors in Ukrainian land would be under constant threat. What was Putin thinking?

……

“THE HEAD of the Russian-installed administration in Ukraine’s occupied Kherson region was poisoned by his cook, Russian media report.”

That is fresh news.

They evacuated him to Moscow. Moscow has some toxicology expertise.

They(CBS) were already forced to take that story down.

Yes, the Ukrainian terror campaign continues. American tax dollars at work!

The US believes in national sovereignty unless it is inconvenient for US policies.

Thou shall not contradict the lords of Langley and Foggy Bottom.

You mean the campaign to rid Ukraine of genocidal occupiers?

Yes, that is the campaign that ethnic Russians have been waging against Azov and their allies who have been occupying and shelling much of eastern Ukraine since 2014.

It looks the campaign to eliminate the genocidal occupiers is nearly complete.

"The truth … " => That which supports the narrative as provided by Russia.

Right?

Ethnic Russians weren’t fighting anyone until Russia invaded in 2014.

“The truth” refers to information that contradicts the official narrative from the US State Department.

The amount of US aid to Ukraine is well in excess of the Ukrainian government’s annual budget. The Ukrainian government is effectively a puppet that is bought and paid for by the US.

Early on, there was one rigid orthodoxy that was enforced by US government. Under pressure from the US government, dissent was banned from social media and corporate media. It was all propaganda, all the time except for a handful of dissident, marginalized voices.

The expectation in Washington was for a quick NATO/Ukrainian victory. The US had spent many billions in training and equipping the Ukrainian military and paramilitary units since the western-backed coup in 2014. The Ukrainian-controlled areas of Donbass had hundreds of miles of trenches and fortifications. The Ukrainian forces outnumbered the forces from Russia and its allies by at least two to one. Washington expected a quick Russian defeat on the battlefield, and the Russian economy was expected to collapse under western sanctions.

Corporate oligarchs from the US and Europe would be able to exploit the vast resources of Russia while subjugating the Russian people into quasi-serfdom under a NATO-imposed puppet. It would be like 1994 only better from the western perspective.

The problem is that it is that an increasingly obvious Russian victory is blowing the plans. The growing diversity in information and opinions presented in the western media indicates growing divisions within the US government as this reality sinks in. The Pentagon realizes that the Russia is winning on the battlefield. The Treasury Department and the Fed recognize the economic situation for the US and western Europe is getting worse.

In contrast the State Department and elements of the intel community believe that doubling down on disinformation war can delay the eventual collapse until after the November elections. They may even allow for negotiated settlement that is favorable to NATO.

The war was supposed to be over by now, so there is no plan B on how to deal with the growing crisis. Expect divisions to grow sharper as conditions in the sanctions war and the battlefields continue to worsen.

Yes, billions more to protect the sacred borders of Ukraine.

The elected, pro-Russian president was in office until the US-backed coup. A large portion of the Ukrainian armed forces ended up fighting against the government in Kiev as a result of the coup.

This war started with unrest that became a civil war.

Russia already had armed forces in Crimea under agreements dating back to the end of the Soviet Union.

What part of Maidan happened in donbas? Let me know. Thanks.

Ukraine isn’t broke.
