WAR in Ukraine, Putin approves initiation of special military operation (Part 1)

no, the defeat of the invasion in the north is why russia is now willing to talk. the want to de facto formalize their occupation in the south before they lose their hold on that too.

and nato didn’t kill anything in march, russia did when they attempted to take kyiv and install a russian puppet. they failed. and now, they are failing more.

Contrarianism. Same as vaccines.

There have been a few things posted that show something a bit more but i am not going to delve into that.

Bingo.

But Ukraine is on its way to Izyum and pushing south. No way will Ukraine agree to any cease fire…I think?

The Russians are destroying the forces that were supposed to be leading the CIA-supported insurgency.

NATO has been winning the propaganda war, at least in NATO countries. On the other hand, Russia has been winning on the battlefield.

Asking for an immediate cease fire is consistent with DOD recognizing that Ukrainian army is near collapse no matter how the propaganda machine spins it.

Dude…thats just…no.

You said that a month ago. You said it’s nearly over a month ago. You want to be proven right i get it. But you are not.

Yes, and the Afghan Army should still be fighting for the US-backed government in Kabul.

what a crock of ■■■■■ russia agreeing to talk after refusing to for 81 days is a sign that putin is finally realizing he’s not going to succeed. he’d be happy if ukraine entered talks where things stand now, a month from now, maybe not so much.

Okay, why is Austin suddenly abandoning his stated objectives and asking for an immediate cease fire when all the western news reports talk about Ukraine winning?

Is he a Putin pawn?

why is russia taking phone calls from him now after refusing to for 81 days?

So people stop dying.

Okay, he has had sudden revelation that multiyear insurgency to weaken Russia severely would cost a huge number of lives?

They picked up the phone. That’s the sudden part.

An insurgency requires a victory by Russia. You are not making sense.

Why call now?

The likely deaths of tens of thousands were irrelevant in January when the US ignored the Russian red line about NATO membership. The deaths of thousands since March have been irrelevant as well when the US failed to support cease-fire negotiations.

Is a cease fire compatible a multiyear war/insurgency to severely weaken Russia?

Or is it just a negotiating ploy to restock Ukrainian forces and then resume the crusade?

he’s been calling… why answer now?

Exaggeration of battlefield exploits to sustain morale is as old as war.

Scorching the earth everywhere they go is not the same as winning on the battlefield. If they were winning on the ground, this would have been over more than a month ago.

Maybe he believes that enough Russians have been killed …

Perhaps to give the Russians a chance to leave with what little honor they have left after this ■■■■ show they put themselves into.
