Of course you have irrefutable proof, you know, evidence etc that the US was behind the pipeline explosions. Not the words from Biden, not supposition nor opinion, but clear proof.
Again, IF the military was given no ROE and just let loose, every major city in Afghanistan would have been reduced to dust. Also, I never said we didnât have moral issues in VN, I said If the military had not been constrained, NVN would have been leveled. You apparently conviently leave out how Hanoi, Haiphong Harbor was off limits for most of the conflict.

We would have two things that Ukraine doesnât have⌠An Air Force and precision weaponry Capable of taking out a lot of Russian artillery.
Think of what Ukraine is doing without being equipped nearly a tent as much as we are. In a strictly conventional war, we would reduce the Russian military to powder.
This of course, is the exact opposite of the 1980s, where we wouldâve been the ones reduced to powder in Europe.
The only thing stopping that is Russian nuclear weapons⌠Just like in the 1980s our nuclear weapons were the only thing stopping it.

NATO has already exhausted its stores of weapons. Bidenâs attempt to start a war against domestic political opponents means that the US military is way below strength and conscription of unwilling recruits would be required to fight a conventional war in Europe.
The US was very fortunate in the last to world wars. It entered WW1 only after both sides had been bleed dry. In WW2, the US, UK, and the other western allies faced 1/3 of the German army, while Soviet Union faced the other 2/3. WW3 against Russia would be a level of brutality far beyond any war in American living memory even if the war remained conventional, and the war could very likely escalate into nuclear annihilation.
The idea of risking WW3 to save the careers of the neo-cons in Washington is absurd.
Dude if the war stayed conventional we would WIPE the floor with the Russians. They canât even beat Ukraine.
They wouldnât even be able to control their own airspace. EA-18 Growlers from the US Navy backed up by Air Force SEAD F-16s would make their air assets blind. F-15s, F-22s, and Super Hornets would be eating MiG-29s and Su-27s for breakfast. The Su-35S would give our guys some issues but the Russians have maybe 20 of them ready for action. They would be overwhelmed by the worldâs two largest air forces (The US Air Force and USN). Thatâs not including the RAF and French Air Force that would be operating alongside us.
Itâs the nuclear weapons that are the problem.
Yes, each side thought the civil war would be over within weeks. The same was true in WW1.
The last time Americans experience a grinding war of attrition was during sieges in Virginia during the Civil War.
The US has already lost much of its inventory of weapons in the war in Ukraine, and it has been over 75 years since the US faced a peer-level enemy in battle. Fighting Russians in their back yard is likely to end very badly for the US, and the 85% of the world who has been subjected to western colonialism and CIA coups would be cheering at our loss.
The Russians arenât a near peer enemy. I spent years thinking they were. But they just arenât.
Has this war in Ukraine not shown you how out of date and incompetent the Russians are?
Yes their men are brave. Hell they have to be to go into combat with that â â â â â â equipment theyâre running. But their doctrine sucks. Their strategies suck. Their tactics suck. Their equipment sucks.
Their infantry is running iron sights on their AKs. How on earth would they fair against United States Marines using M16A4s with 3x quick acquire optics and the best marksmanship training in the world?
Perhaps the Chinese would do better. Since they love to copy us in everything. So they could be considered a neer peer enemy.
The Russians couldnât even beat Finland. Much less the full might and fury of the United States Armed Forces.
The US military believes in low quantities of super-expensive, complex weapons.
The Russian approach is mass production of simple, cheap, but effective weapons.
The US approach is similar to that of the Germans in WW2. How did that go for them?
How long would Americans tolerate casualties at 10x Vietnam levels?
Western pundits keep fantasizing about regime change in Russia. The reality is that democracy implies regime change at the ballot box. Crushing democracy to save a failing war effort is likely to result in civil war.
Dude the Russians have low quantities of outdated equipment.
They are issuing AKMs for crying out loud. Their infantry cant even operate at night because they have an enormous shortage of NODs. Their tank battalions are smoldering and they are pushing out T-62s (which have been horribly outdated since the 1970s with no modern modifications) to replace armor losses. They canât even equip their soldiers with proper body armor.
Unless it went nuclear the Russians wouldnât stand a chance against the US. The tables have turned. This isnât 1985 anymore when the USSR could have fought us on a mostly equal basis with both sides having advantages and disadvantages.
We are so far ahead of them now that honestly I would feel bad for the Russian infantrymen and their pilots and tank crews. They would be walking into a slaughter.
Russia has been fighting with only a small fraction of its available forces. NATO thought that economic sanctions and the largest NATO trained and NATO supplied army in Europe would crush Russia. The reality is that Ukraine is squandering its remaining forces under Russian artillery in vain attempts at offensives.
The idea of a quick, easy victory in Russia is ridiculous. Hitler and Napoleon each controlled most of Europe and destroyed their empires in Russia. The NATO is likely to meet the same fate.
Ridiculous.
Ukraine is currently kicking Russiaâs ass, but for some reason a war with NATO will be a
Sometimes i wonder about him.

Man, youâre funny. Please, tell me whose offensives have been in vain.
That must be why Putin is thinking about calling up 300K reserve troops to go to Ukraine.
well, the regular army doesnât seem to be able to do it⌠give 'em a shot, see what happens.
With all of the men leaving the country, I wonder how many reserves will be left. This whole deal might backfire big time on Putin. I heard yesterday that Putinâs BS about the war is being exposed and public support for him has diminished big time.
Putin has reached that point in a losing war where itâs time to just throw â â â â at the wall and hope it sticks long enough for you to save face and back out of it.
