I have to wonder just how much of what Europe has “given” is because we are paying them to give it, rather than them actually donating it.

The Ukrainian vote is locked in for 2024.

Now we are going to give Ukraine JDAMS. It sounds like a case of giving them a new capability, but I suspect it also has to do with the burn rate of precision artillery munitions. The air war in this thing has been very minimal, on both sides. There are probably still large stocks of dumb gravity bombs on both sides. JDAMS would give them the ability to conduct precision stand off attacks from 15 miles. I can see this covering some of the priority targets now being assigned to the HIMARS/MLRS. Pair a HARM equipped MIG with 2 JDAMS armed aircraft. They would most likely have to program the targets and the release point before each sortie.
We are happily turning Ukraine into another Afghanistan.
It is as if Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan was based on creating a replacement war-forever in Ukraine.

Armies are supposed to evacuate civilians from areas where military battles are likely to occur.
What is cartoonishly evil has been Ukraine stationing troops in residential areas without evacuating civilians.

Almost every area involved in battles had evacuations in place going back to March. That there are still civilians in the area doesn’t mean that evacuations didn’t take place.
Why make things up?
Russia evacuated Kherson residents before they withdrew their forces.
Russian officials knew that Ukrainian forces in the city would become a target for Russian artillery.
The Ukrainian approach is to station troops at a civilian location without evacuating nearby civilians.

No we’re not. Ukraine has taken back half the land that Russia occupied and killed/wounded 100 K of the occupiers in less than a year. Stop with that.

In terms of GDP? Estonia has us beat by far. But if you look at the richest European countries, we are giving more (as a percentage) than France and Germany but less than the UK.
And Russia should not be targeting apartment complexes with missiles.

Tucker, tells the truth about all this but stops short of revealing what goal these people are really aiming towards. It should be obvious.
These people see America as the main target. They want to gather weapons, create a huge army and take over this country just as they want regime change in Russia.

Ukrainian officials have been keeping a close tally on the war’s death toll - and today claimed Putin has a grand total of 100,400 men.
Ukrainian estimates of Russian losses are just about meaningless. At best they provide the highest estimate that passes the laugh test.
Of course, UK leaders are counting on “Mad Vlad’s” good will and common sense to avoid their total destruction. Are the leaders of the UK mad as well?

Recent events make more sense if you understand that Congress has lost any real control over things that matter to the military-industrial-surveillance complex.
It has been that way for decades, but it is becoming more obvious.

If enemy military forces are in the apartment blocks, they become military targets.
That is how the US runs things. Does Russia need to meet a higher standard?

Fair enough. However I have not read any statement from Russia explaining why any apartment complex was targeted. I do see where Russia has been asked multiple times for statements and have remained silent. Perhaps you have links that I have not found?
Western media and western NGOs generally ignore reports that are critical of Ukraine or NATO.
Russia has long complained about Ukraine using civilians as human shields along with a long list of other war crimes. Here an excerpt a Russian report:
On August 4, 2022, Amnesty International issued a report accusing the Ukrainian military of stationing its troops and artillery near hospitals, schools and residential buildings thus turning them into military targets. By doing so, it endangered civilians and violated international humanitarian law and the laws of war, the rights group said. After an aggressive pushback from the Ukrainian government, Amnesty was forced to apologize for the “distress and anger” it caused Ukrainians.
Here is a link mentioned to the current version of the Amnesty International report:

Oh if only Russia could bomb Ukraine back to the stone age without killing civilians…because they care so much about the civilian population. Meanwhile:
Has there ever been a war where the US did not accuse its enemies of war crimes?
Western journalists rarely go to the front lines in Ukraine. They usually rely on Ukrainian official reports, and they never go to the Russian side to cover the war.
Only occasionally does the truth seep out into western media. Back in June, a PBS reporter went to investigate a Ukrainian report about an alleged Russian attack on a civilian target. Instead he found evidence that large numbers of Ukrainian soldiers had been killed by a Russian missile.
According to Russian reports, the graves in Izium are of Ukrainian soldiers who died in battle. Ukraine refused to collect the bodies so Russian forces buried them in individual graves with wooden crosses.
This cross that appears in a Reuters video has the name “Vasily Petrovich”, and it appears to list the date of death as April 6, 2022.
War crime or act of mercy is in the eye of the beholder.
