you continualy bring up kosovo like i give a ■■■■ about it. i did not agree with that action. it did not benefit america. one has nothing to do with the other.
It does make me giggle that win or lose Zelenskyy has become an immortal Slavic legend that people will be talking about decades if not centuries from now. Like Serbians talk about that battle they lost six hundred years ago. No one loves an underdog story more than Slavs, especially if it’s about spitting in Russia’s eye.
I mean that’s weird to think about on some Lord of the Rings stuff right? History became myth, myth became legend and all that.

Ummm, Ukraine has retaken half of the territory that was occupied at the beginning of the war. More to come.
As I noted earlier, the American trainer admitted that Ukraine is sending raw recruits into Bakhmut as replacements for their huge losses:
They’ve been taking extraordinarily high casualties. . .70 percent and above casualties being routine are not exaggerated . . . defenders “have an acute ‘regeneration problem,’ which means getting new recruits into the line as quickly as possible.” This means those being thrown into the fight have little beyond basic training.Typically about 80 percent of our intake who are coming off of the line have never even fired a weapon before . . .

Russians are making no such statements about their losses. Reporters for western media rarely venture beyond Kyiv and never go to the Russian side of the front. Western claims about Russian casualties are just evidence-free propaganda and spin.
According to Fiona Hill’s article, Russia offered to withdraw to the February 23 lines of control.
Failure to take the agreement means that Ukraine has lost tens of thousands of men, and it has lost thousands of square miles of territory. On the other hand, American weapons manufactures are looking forward to record profits.
Are we going to send them a million American troops to achieve equity?
Bring back the draft and fill the trenches of Ukraine?
american trainer? lol
over the course of a deployment about 70% of the ukrainian forces in a unit will suffer some injury. 90% are treated and returned to duty. spinning that into 70% losses is pure propaganda.
The Newsweek report makes it clear that there is “an acute regeneration problem”, and Ukraine is “getting new recruits into the line as quickly as possible”. If the injuries were just a matter of getting a bandage and going back to the front lines, the “regeneration problem” would not exist.
For reference, here is what “Bakhmut is like Dresden, and the countryside looks like Passchendaele” means.
Dresden 1945:
This is what Passchendaele looked like in WW1:
I believe that in the future they will be erecting statues of Zelensky. And there won’t be any statues of Putin.
Do you have any proof that Putin would back this? As I have said before, I believe all of this was a stall tacit which had no backing from on high. Putin wanted and still wants Ukraine as part of Russia.

Ha ha ha no. Russia was not going to surrender everything at that point. What would they get?
Here is a Russian report from April 12 that says Ukraine had backed out of a tentative agreement.
In March, Turkey said that the two sides were nearing an agreement.

By mid-April, the Turkish foreign minister was saying that unnamed NATO countries wanted the war to continue.
“There are countries within NATO that want the Ukraine war to continue. They see the continuation of the war as weakening Russia. They don’t care much about the situation in Ukraine,” Cavusoglu said without naming countries in the North Atlantic alliance.

The Ukrainian media outlet, Ukrainska Pravda, had this report:
As soon as the Ukrainian negotiators and Abramovich/Medinsky, following the outcome of Istanbul, had agreed on the structure of a future possible agreement in general terms, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson appeared in Kyiv almost without warning.
“Johnson brought two simple messages to Kyiv. The first is that Putin is a war criminal; he should be pressured, not negotiated with. And the second is that even if Ukraine is ready to sign some agreements on guarantees with Putin, they are not. We can sign [an agreement] with you [Ukraine], but not with him. Anyway, he will screw everyone over”, is how one of Zelenskyy’s close associates summed up the essence of Johnson’s visit.

Johnson’s surprise trip to Kyiv was widely reported in western media, but the Ukrainian report about what happened there was ignored.

You may be right about Zelensky. Here is a statue of Benedict Arnold.
Zelensky is certainly a hero for weapons dealers. One person’s villain is another’s hero.
So from what I have seen there is no proof that Putin is all in for a agreement. And I don’t trust anything that is published in Russia state controlled media or what Turkey says. And here again, western media has reported that there were talks. But no certification that Putin was doing anything but a stall tactic. Putin has had multiple opportunities to back out of this deal. And he hasn’t done anything except push harder. .
A statue of Benedict Arnold that is in a museum in India. And a statue of him when he was a British officer. And you point is?
Even traitors get statues.
Zelensky ran as a peace candidate. He was supposed to end the festering war in Donbas. Instead he has become a NATO puppet who is destroying Ukraine in a proxy war with Russia.
The magnitude of his betrayal of the people who elected him will only be apparent when the Ukrainian casualty figures are released.
