Finland successfully fought the Soviet Union in 1940 when it attacked as an ally of Hitler. They ended up with a negotiated settlement.

Finland restarted their war with the Soviet Union in 1941 after the Germans invaded. In 1944 they switched sides and fought Germany after a signing a treaty with the Soviets and giving up more territory. Finland never had its capital captured during the war even though it lost twice.

People need to realize Putin is a military savant, probably more adept than any of our generals, even General Keene says he’s unpredictable. That’s a nice way of saying he’s smarter than you. But we said the same thing about Trump and kicked him out because of it.

You’re giving Rommel a lot more power than he actually had.

Rommel never commanded forces on the eastern front after Poland fell. And he was not on OKW or OKH’s general staff at any time during the war.

Decisions like Barbarossa were made by Hitler and the OKW and OKH. Although most of the general staff in 1941 were horrified by the idea of opening up a second front. Hitler overruled them. The eastern front and it’s tragedy is entirely on Hitler.

I don’t think he’s interested in facts.
