WAR in Ukraine, Putin approves initiation of special military operation (Part 1)

Of course it was going to be a problem. As you said…you are right- a complete idiot would have seen it…

But of course you know you are simply deflecting from what I am calling you on…which is your refusal to look at the context as to why that expansion happened and your insistence on blaming Europe alone.

Things don’t just happen in a vacuum.

lol… revisionism.

it wasn’t conservatives, it was everybody. you’ll be hard pressed to find anybody but zalensky who didn’t believe russia would walk over ukraine.

okay, thats funny

oh wait, you weren’t joking?

okay, thats funny

You do understand, around 1998 NATO founding act they no longer viewed each other as adversaries…if so why did we continue NATO expansionists if we didn’t view them as such?

Since then we had about dozen other countries entering NATO…against who if Russia wasn’t our adversary?

Think Jay…and spare me your insults.

they asked. we said yes. they are allowed to do that, so are we. you know who doesn’t get a vote? russia

This is a very reputable source of information about the battlefield in Ukraine, usually a few hours behind real time in terms of news.

They are showing Lyman completely encircled as you can see from this tweet.

We? No one asked me.

You dumbass…it was 1997.

My bad.

the white area north and east of Zacharine is still in russian hands; however, reports are russians either have left it or are leaving it.

we have a constitution that determines who gets to say yes… it ain’t you

For someone that is suppose to be non adversary…why the expansion?

And you guys don’t see a problem with this?

Special interest/big corporations and european snobs did…American people we never asked.

Yeah the question is if there is a corridor for retreat for Russians in Lyman. Reports are that Putin has demanded no retreat which could lead to slaughter or mass surrender. There does seem to be a corridor at least to Zarichne but beyond that the road to Kreminna is contested and likely controlled by Ukraine.

Getting rough for the Russian soldiers holed up in Lyman.

no, i don’t. its a defensive treaty organization. the more the merrier. joining nato does not make you a threat to anyone unless they attack you. it in fact, makes you less of a threat.

Do I have a problem with states banding together to form a self-defense pact in case of Russian aggression? Well the question kind of answers itself doesnt it?

Well I do…and so are millions and millions of American people.

they didn’t ask me about going to the moon either. i don’t expect them to. i get to vote on who represents me, i don’t get any other votes and they don’t ask me what i think.

NATO expansion is not the only issue.

NATO was originally a purely defensive alliance designed to stop a Soviet invasion. After the end of the Cold War that changed, which resulted in NATO bombings in Serbia, Libya, Syria, etc.

so? millions also don’t

Where do you get the idea that in 1998 they (meaning both Russia and the West) didn’t view each other as adversaries?

Because of the NATO Founding Act?

Skin deep analysis of history yet again.
