So thoughtful…

What should the response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine be?

Roll over.

And if they want anything else? Roll over.

Did you support Trump and the GOP when they helped arm Ukraine to defend against Russia?

Yes, Trump had peace and prosperity. But that does not answer the question I asked.

Ok so you support the US arming Ukraine against a Russia invasion. Great.

We aren’t in the war.

We are supporting a belligerent in the conflict.

The Russians can go ■■■■ themselves. If they want to complain we can just remind them about Vietnam.

Trump was not pushing Ukraine into Nato. Is nuclear war worth Ukraine in NATO?

He literally sent military aid to Ukraine to help it defend against a Russian invasion. And you supported that. But when Russia invades, you no longer support that. Ok dude.

You can lie to your friends, you can lie to your enemies, but don’t lie to yourself. We are in a “Proxy” war with Russia, and we don’t need the word “Proxy”.

But Trump did not go to war with them. This admin has and it’s getting dangerous. It’s sad your TDS is so deep you can’t stop talking about him…

And?

The USSR did the same to us in Vietnam. They know the game. They play it as good as we do.

And honestly I do wonder how some of those Jihadi groups in Iraq back in 2006 during the surge got ahold of tandem warhead RPG-29s. Those were fairly advanced late Soviet tech for the time yet our guys found plenty of them in caches.

Perhaps the Russians lost a few.

Trump sent military aid to Ukraine. You and I supported him doing that. Russia invaded Ukraine. You no longer support Ukraine defending itself. Why?

Are US troops on the ground killing Russians? Yes or no.

The Russians are upset they’re getting their asses kicked by Ukraine of all countries.

Perhaps there are and perhaps there is not. Who knows what ops are going on. We are funding an army to fight Russia. That’s war. It’s dysfunctional to think otherwise…

Hopeful view here.

If Vladimir Putin were to call a nuclear strike, either in Ukraine or in the West, he would have to go through his military commanders. At the top of that list are Russia’s Minister of Defence Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Vasilyevich Gerasimov.

There is no guarantee that they would obey Putin’s order. In fact, Prof Duncan believes the opposite to be true.

He said: "I still think that if Putin did begin to use nuclear weapons - or if he did actually tell Shoigu and Gerasimov to use nuclear weapons - not just deploy them, but use them somewhere in Ukraine, I think it’s entirely likely that [they] would refuse and then they would have to move against Putin and kill him.

I’m all for Ukraine defending it’s self. I just not for our funding another endless war that leads to Chaos forever like Iraq, Syria and Libya. Are you?

A proxy conflict. Not the same thing as American A-10s doing strafing runs on Russian positions.

They know how the game is played and what the rules are.

They have no right to bitch. They did the same to us numerous times during the Cold War.

But you supported giving military aid to help Ukraine defend itself against Russia. Right?

I was for letting UKraine keep it’s nukes, but Clinton made them get rid of them for aid.
