The Ukrainian people spoke when they elected a pro-Russian president. A US-backed coup removed him from office.
They spoke when they elected Zelensky as a peace candidate who would enforce existing agreements. US-backed ultranationalist paramilitaries prevented that.
The US has been promoting civil war and division not democracy and reconciliation. The war in Ukraine has been about promoting the interests of Washington, not those of Ukrainians.
