Way sooner than I thought. I thought Erdogan would slow roll this out till next year as it got close to election time for him.

Well thats probably the most massive consequence to Russia of this whole debacle. Their border with NATO just expanded 830 miles.

Considering what the Kurds have been forced to suffer through, and continue to suffer through as a distinct people, I don’t really blame them for resorting to the tactics they have resorted to in regards to Turkey and Syria.

Wasn’t that long ago the main route into Syria for foreign fighters was through Turkey (They looked the other way) and at the battle of Kobani only after pressure did Turkey let some of the Kurds cross the border to escape. So as much as the pkk are terrorists and I don’t claim there not Turkey is at best a ■■■■■■■■ country.
