The Russians despise the Taliban and Al Qaeda. Not saying a whole lot that they curried some favor for a short time.

He’s probably told Putin he can have as much of Ukraine as he can take with only token US resistance, as long as he destroys any Biden family adverse documentation he finds along the way.

And I’m sure many in our Government feel the same way.
So in other words, it’s the same today. Putin has no more reason to say our military aid to Ukraine is an act of war than his predecessors did during the Cold War.

I think we can all agree Trump was correct when he called the media the “enemy of the people.”

Hoo-wee…glad Biden is resisting the pressure…
Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) told Fox News on Tuesday the U.S. is already at war with Russia, and needs to win it both “militarily” and “economically.”
“I don’t support the president’s position,” Kennedy stated with regard to Biden’s reluctance to arm Ukraine with MiG fighter jets.
“Poland offered to send the planes, which Ukraine desperately needs to an American and NATO air force base in Germany, where they would be transferred to Ukraine.”
Kennedy concluded Biden “needs to stop thinking about his wishbone and grow a backbone.”

Do you know what the line is?
Do you think they know?
This isn’t 1941 where the President stands in the Capitol and asks for a declaration.
We do one thing that Putin thinks is a bridge too far…they “accidentally” lob a missile into Poland…and before you know it…
That’s how it’s gonna happen.
And just like the war games…every decision made is going to feel like a totally rational one…right up until the one that goes too far.

I don’t think you’re gonna be one of those that goes to Raven Rock, Mr. Senator, so you might want to be careful…

Yup- how would you deal with that if you were part of NATO?
World goes to war over Poland again except this time the aftermath is a world that resembles this.

That’s correct. It will be a series of seemingly random small events. An insidious escalation. Like Vietnam. Not Pearl Harbor.
I know it’s a very fine line we are walking. I think both sides realize the end game if there is open war. I just don’t see it going that far. Assured mutual destruction has no victor so what would be the point.
