It’s a nickname for laws that state that you are not required to obtain a permit to carry a concealed handgun. You know, like “Obamacare” for the Affordable Care Act.

Actually in quite a few of the CC states it’s defined by statute.

Colloquially it just means permitless carry.

Hmmmm… I have seen lots of definitions that include open carry… It’s almost like it’s not a term actually applied to statute…

Please cite those states…

The key word there is trespassing … if they refuse to leave when you ask them to leave. You cannot have them arrested for either concealed or open possession of the gun.

Do you get to continue shopping on the premises with your firearm?

Find them yourself, start with Missouri

Your questions have already been answered and the law both posted and explained to you.

I suggest you read the law in your state. That’s what I did here in my state.

Normally, when people ask for citations they are asking for actual law, not web sites that are irrelevant… For instance, the site you posted provides information for open carry of handguns but nothing for long barrel firearms.

Do you get to perform a bounding overwatch tactical shopping trip at Walmart with your M4?

Open carry doesn’t distinguish between the two that I know of.

The site he linked is of the States that do not require a permit to carry concealed, not about carrying openly. It’s virtually impossible to carry a long gun concealed. Apparently, you know so little about this topic that you don’t even know what you asked for, let alone know when your question has been answered.

It also lists all of the constitutional carry states and a summary of their laws.

I’m sure as hell not going to dig into the codes for each of the 13 constitutional carry states for her.

Sweet Mary, Mother of the Baby Jesus, watching that be explained over and over and someone still NOT getting it was painful to read.

I’m not sure which describes his last 20-30 posts better … floundering or grasping at straw. (That’s giving him the benefit of the doubt that he’s not trolling.)

A word we’re not supposed to use related to baiting. Nothing but an attempt to sew discord and play gotcha.

People with permits will just go in with the weapon concealed. Neither you or the owner will ever know.

I’m fine with that… Conceal your AR and go shopping…
