I honestly think tolerance is important, but acceptance is not. You don’t have to like something or someone but that doesn’t give you a right to make their lives miserable. That is simply tolerance, live and let live. Acceptance is another matter, no one should be mandated to accept any lifestyle they don’t understand or agree with, for any reason.
The Libs deal more with Acceptance than tolerance, some of them cannot even define what a woman IS because they fear offending the Trans community. The thing is, that community can be obnoxious, cross dressers and Transvestites are a lot nicer and funnier people and they cannot stand transexuals for the most part.
I still think there are a handful of cases where transitioning is a solid choice, but the whole thing has been polluted by mentally needy people who crave attention and see being a trans person as their golden ticket to victimhood and societal focus.
Attention is the deadliest addiction there is, Mothers poison their children for it. Serial killers terrorize communities for it. Spree and mass killers bathe in it. And now young women are cutting their breasts off and sterilizing themselves for it. This dysphoria exists, but many are enticed not by ending their dysphoria but the attention being “ill” gives them. They call it Munchausen’s, and I feel a like of “Trans-trenders” are suffering from it.
I don’t disagree.
“Tolerance” is their word.
