How do you know he didn’t? Besides, I never asserted he did. I only responded to a post by another member and reiterated the law with respect to interfering with law enforcement doing their jobs.
But you do you.
There is no situation where you come to work and get attacked for no reason. He obviously didn’t want to roll down his window or get out of his car. That’s why his window was smashed, he was sprayed, and dragged out of the car. This is simple stuff we see on a regular basis dealing with idiots.
Sure, but what circumstance could ICE lawfully order him out of the car - meaning, how could there be an untold set of circumstances that warranted this treatment?
A few things. First, the article did not say why he was picked up. And I have my doubts that he was peppered for nothing. They just don’t spray you for fun. And we’re only hearing from one side. So you don’t know what is true and what isn’t. And. If this WAS a mistake, we’re not going to stop because of it. That would just be stupid. Never let the perfect be the enemy of the good. Just comply folks. If you’re grabbed by mistake, don’t resist. They’ll figure it out. And don’t work for a company that surrounds you with invaders.
Because they were in the middle of a raid. He was at a crime scene. If you are on a site that is engaging in massive illegal activity, just comply. Allow law enforcement to do their jobs without having to wonder who’s in the car. It’s less complicated and certainly safer.
“You got someone who dropped 30 feet because they were scared to death and lost their life,”
If he would have complied, he would still be alive.
I wasn’t there. I’m just telling you why his window was broken, and why he got pepper sprayed. I mean, why bother stopping at all? Just keep going. See how that works out.
