Pretty much all developed countries have better education systems and pay less. I would say everyone in the list (not sure about Canada) has a better education system than ours.

Venezuela is more a product of the concentration of wealth in the hands of a small corrupt elite than it is a product socialism.

If there is a reason why American’s should fear the Venezuelan model we should consider the degree of wealth concentration since the Reagan era. That gave rise to destructive populist regimes in Venezuela.

People on the right are quick to blame the reaction (which certainly worked out badly) but ignore the underlying cause.

People will only have a stake in the common good if they have a stake in the common good. Is it really that difficult?
