The ACA is not socialism in the classical meaning of the word. It is not ownership of an industry but more of a collusion between an industry and the government with the government having the final say. It is more like a limited fascism.
Venezuela on the other hand is pure socialism. The government took control of and ownership of all major industries, including the oil industry.
It failed, just as it did in the Soviet Union and eastern Europe.

There are many different types of socialism, which makes the right wing outcry even more irrational. Especially when you immediately go to venezuala or mass murder

We are not even in top 20 nations for public schools and we have system like DC and NYC where they spend 20K per kid… Money is not everything.

Socialism give the dictator much more power as it deals with completely reorganizing society. That’s why it killed nearly 100 million people in such a short time. The worse holocaust in history.
