Trump told an interviewer at the very beginning of his campaign, when asked to reveal what he thought his flaws were, was “I tend to trust people too easily”

He trusted his big win would bring approval from even the Demoncrats. Instead he faced a gauntlet of hate and jealousy, his entire first term.

He correctly identified the China Virus but apparently trusted the so called experts. He saw his role to be creating Warp Speed vaccine development. Still he TRUSTED these people.

The federal government is a right of centre government. The opposition Labor Party is a centre left party. Exactly who are these “normal people of Australia” are going to vote for when our federal election is called between now and May, 2022?

Our vaccine rollout has not been done well and that is why the current federal government is down in the polls. A parallel between what is happening in Australia would be that when a government/leader (e.g. Donald Trump) has not done well in handling the COVID-19 pandemic competently they don’t do well in elections. The corollary also applies.
