You know this is a tricky one. ADA does not permit potential employers to ask questions about their overall health or any disability—only is there any reason they may not be able to perform job duties as described, and, if so, ate there any accommodations they might need.

Am not sure if that’s a legal question for a potential landlord/tenant relationship, though.

Are you using any medication? If so, what? Anything that might alter your ability to think?

I’m still 90+ %, though, that most of its provisions are not related to private housing.

Marijuana is such a nice thing. It’s good for pain, a number of medical conditions, nausea, and improving appetite—if you like gulping miniature Snickers by the handful. It also shows one the humor in just about anything. Some might call it a gift from the gods.

This is what I don’t get. How come the religious rights of cannabis smokers is never considered? It is my sincere religious belief that Jesus probably smoked the stuff, so I should be able to as well.

Those are what I do, too. I don’t know about the sativa’s, but I’ve tried a couple sativa dominant hybrids, and they haven’t really had an affect on my hunger. I’ve heard that Durban Poison, which is a sativa, actually is an appetite suppressant, but I’ll probably never know, indicas being my choice.

I can’t do the sativa - makes me too anxious and then I can’t sleep at night. I think the indica is stunting my creativity now -i write music- so I may try a Sativa one Sunday afternoon.

One would think someone owning property & deriving income from it would be more interested in receiving the rent on time & just might say a prayer any tenants don’t destroy the place than in those individuals’ actions behind closed doors.

It’s not that simple. Yes, on-time rent payment keeps the rental viable. Nonetheless, if “individual actions behind closed doors” ends up attracting a police raid … not so good. (I speak from first-hand landlord experience.)

I guess now to rent from one of these JCLS owners not wanting medicinal marijuana or mind altering substances on their premises, one must now clear a drug test with ethyl alcohol included.

A lease can simply stipulate that (fill-in-the-blank) is prohibited. It wouldn’t require a test on the way in (unless the lease also stipulates that.)

The clause is there so that the landlord could terminate the lease if violation of the clause is discovered.

Simple as that.

I won’t even try a new to me indica if I need to get a good nights sleep. Some of them are really more of a mix than portrayed and can still leave you a little anxious. I’m not the least bit creative, so no problem there, lol.
