I agree, people in society should not use government to force others to pay for their own mistakes. Unfortunately for me, the government bailouts killed that person when they let the rich survive the 2008 depression.

You can’t have socialism for the rich and capitalism for the poor.

Employers owe their employees their agreed upon contract, wages, and benefits or lack thereof.

The government can set regulations because there were bad employers that put money ahead of safety, their interests above others.

From where does the idea that an employer owes us something come from? Where does the idea that we should use government to force them to give it to us come from? This are serious questions.

As you can see, I have embraced game theory. What’s in my best interest? That’s all that matters.

I am your employer. You want something from me. Why do you think you get to use government as a weapon?

It is in my interest for your store to remain open. But it is also in your best interest for the store to remain open, unless whatever it is that I want would make your business unprofitable.
