That’s just made up BS. They are branching off primarily from the AF so they going to wear USAF uniforms for the time being with “Space Force” tags.
The USAF wore army uniforms with USAF tags for a decade after they split off too.
Wouldn’t that require a royalty payment every time it was said?

Now as far as the Space Force goes, it doesn’t take a veteran to realize they’re all operating down here on Mother Earf. I’d prefer they be dressed in OCP (formerly called BDU when the patterns were the atrocious digital pattern).
Out in Space, I think I’d prefer they simply wear space suits?
