US military keeping Trump’s Scottish resort afloat?

Guvnah believes he’s profiting none the less…is that acceptable to you guys.

That’s just NOT true.

They may write books and make speeches when leaving office, but ripping the taxpayers off for millions while in office is usually considered a crime.

Dishonest response. Full of the real TDS.

He’s not profiting unless you get over the $66,000,000 threshold. And “profiting” is a vague term and not necessarily the same as emoluments.

:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

a “few” hotel stays?

Many, many, many hotel stays would be nearer the mark.

Ridiculous. A business can show a loss one year, and then record profit in the next. The loss is gone in that year. The next year’s profit does not work toward erasing the previous years loss. Trump spent his own money, so they say. These are Trump businesses turning profits. Which I am guessing at some point after his presidency ends…he will reap the benefits. If he’s not already.

Where does the $66m come form?

It’s what he spent to buy the presidency.

Has anyone actually calculated or even estimated the personal or family benefit from hotel stays that were by US government officials or military officials?

I mean, such profiting isn’t actually illegal perse, so far as I know of, but if one is going to complain about it one should at least have a dollar estimate.

Johnson, both Bush’s, Kennedy, and Clinton.

Yep…thats all of em…

Nothing to see here.

Prove it. (And in office or later?)

Something’s rotten in Scotland.

Since Mr Trump entered office, the State Department has made at least four separate payments to Turnberry’s corporate entity. The latest brings the total spend to more than £75,000.

Hmmm. He should have blocked out the part of that letter from the Trump organization that shows it was dated 2014, long before anyone thought he might become President.

Hmm, wonder if this contract is still valid. What do you think?

That’s five which is what I was asked for.

Only the cheapest for our men in military.
