It would be really great if Republicans would get off their butts and pass something for her to negotiate. Republicans have failed.
I can’t help but wonder what the long term effects of this will be on people.
I was listening to talk radio and there was a gym owner in San Francisco. She admitted that it was a big mistake not to pay attention to local politics and vote accordingly.

Yet they are so quick to blame the Dems. The party of personal responsibility lacks responsibility.
She could provide a trillion overnight on her word. Instead, rather than settle for less she has chosen to provide them nothing. This is on Nancy and her followers.

That is what Dems have argued for on past bills.
If she doesn’t get the pork she wants then those in need get nothing.

The Republican-authored “skinny” coronavirus bill failed to pass the Senate in a 52-47 vote Thursday, which left Americans to wonder what will happen next.
What party in the Senate wouldn’t pass it? Can you guess?
“It’s a vote for senators to say whether they want to move forward toward huge amounts of relief for kids, for jobs, for health care, or whether they are happier doing absolutely nothing,” McConnell said.

The vote was 52 to 47, and 60 votes were needed to advance the legislation for debate and a full vote on the Senate floor. The bill did not gain support from any Senate Democrats, who support a much larger package.
Doesn’t look like Senate Republicans are holding up the legislation, does it?

It’s not basic civics, it’s basic government. Civics is the study of the rights and duties of citizenship.
Government is the study theory and practice of government, policy making and public administration.
Obviously they are not teaching either and should return to teaching both.

To pass it, they needed to get Dems on board. They failed.
Not one Dem voted in favor of the bill. What was their objection to it?
